1. Les Argonautes part II. Jules Verne’s fish bowl full of lavashak.

    In Summer 2011 the University of Luxembourg hosted the “Transatlantic Dialogue” conference where Luxembourgish, European and American people working in various cultural fields participated. Within that frame our short performance play “Les Argonautes part II. Jules Verne’s fish bowl full of lavasahk.“ was part of the artistic program. The play criticizes nowadays society and its’ strong penchant for sensationalism. It is blended throughout with quotations from Jules Verne’s opus, who was a writer focusing his writing mainly on Science Fiction (future media and trasportation systems, etc.) and traveling.

    This project was spanning the generations: A Luxembourgish retiree meets a Danish and Belgian pupil as well as a German student. The performance was designed as a piece of street art, however it was also performed several times at cultural institutions.
